bels b’day today, but look who celebrated the most…
what an awesome picture!!
JB’s been gone for nearly 3 years now.. wow, time flies…
when flying, i never get the window seat :(
wifey normally sits there so she can lean her pillow on it whilst sleeping.
but if i did get a window seat, i’d hope i could capture images half as cool as these..
From Paul Octavious’ photoset JFK ✈ SFO
I took a series of images from above while flying coast to coast. I kept snapping away and couldn’t believe what was down there to photograph. The landscapes around the U.S are so amazing from above.
call me unhip, but i still love north face & always rock my weathered black down vest in the cold. now i see they’ve collab’d with comme des garcons…. sign me up, time for an upgrade!

so i was introduced to this gin by a friend last night… oh man, it’s liquid gold!! officially my summer drink of choice.. i need to hunt down a bottle (or 2)

i’ve recently sold my trusty Nikon D70 & lenses. that beast was a workhorse. we travelled far & wide together - from the banks of the hudson river to the aegean sea to the beaches of the indian ocean - it was a part of me. shit, my first born’s first ever pictures were taken with that thing, so selling it was similar to selling off family. wait… that sounds bad!?
anyway it has no soul so we must move on.
i need something new, something to capture the arrival of our son #2 and all the new adventures he brings. i was thinking of going DSLR route again but figured the old saying a ‘good camera is one that’s with you’ holds true, so decided on a Canon S90 - the ‘photographers’ P&S. all fine & dandy until i discovered these new micro 4/3 cameras. they have me all warm & fuzzy inside. compact DSLR-like, rangefinder-like cameras with interchangeable lenses - over at dpreview someone mentioned calling them EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens).
i wanna be bad. panasonic GF-1 + 20mm 1.7 pancake lens bad.
